Full Moon Equals Full Trout?
Some believe that when the moon is full, the trout feed at night making them less hungry during the day (i.e. you catch less fish). They claim the best time to fish is during and around a new moon.

Others think it is a bunch of carp!

Weather & Water
Rainbow trout are most active when the water is around 61° C. In the cold winter months, this means starting a couple of hours before noon and stopping in the late afternoon. In the summer months, this means fishing early in the morning till about mid morning and again in the late afternoon to sundown.
